Beckenham Property Support is small on purpose. It's run by one person, in spare time, helping local landlords understand fire door requirements without the marketing of a national compliance firm.
Why I started this.
I'm Thomas Cork — Beckenham-based, with experience in the property trades. The fire door side of compliance is one of those things where a lot of landlords genuinely don't know what they should be looking at — and the firms that do know are usually built for portfolios, not for someone with one or two properties.
So I started doing this on the side — spot-check fire door inventories for local landlords who'd rather have a knowledgeable second pair of eyes than try to interpret regulations on their own.
No call centres. No sales pitch. No accreditation theatre. Just a clear, friendly conversation about what's in front of you — and what you might want to do about it.

Honesty about what I am
I'm not an accredited inspection firm. I'm a local pair of knowledgeable eyes. If your situation needs a formal inspector, I'll tell you that — and recommend a few you can call.
Plain English, every time
No regulatory acronyms, no insurance-speak, no clipboard intimidation. Every report is something a landlord can actually read, understand and act on themselves.
No hidden incentives
I don't sell doors, fit seals or take commissions from anyone who does. I'd rather under-charge for a visit and be the person you recommend than over-charge and never hear from you again.
